Project goal and preparation
The main goal was to create an informational website for underwater well drilling services. The site should be clear and concise. It should have a convenient admin panel for management. It should be possible to expand the site's functionality.

During the first discussion of the project, the main goals and the main action plan were approved. At this stage, SULU CMS was chosen for the CMS as a simple and convenient system for managing the site. After that, the website design and layout (non-interactive web pages) were completed and approved by the client. Next, the admin panel was developed, and the site was filled with content.
After development, the phase of deployment on the server, acceptance by the client and launch was completed.
Since its launch, the project has already made several significant functional improvements, added new pages and modules. Search engine optimization was also added.
Admin panel functionality
User management
The project has a convenient module for managing users and their access to different parts of the admin panel. You can add an unlimited number of users; assign them different access groups, for example, to restrict access to certain pages or media files, to restrict access to different language versions.
Additional modules
One of the modules added to the admin panel was a module for managing feedback. All messages from the website are automatically added to it. In this module, administrator can monitor when a message was sent, by whom, and additional information for processing by the manager. This module is not standard. It was created specifically for the project.
Managing main content
The main functionality of the admin panel is usually page management. For this purpose, the content management system provides some functionality out of the box: page management, media management, but everything else is developed specifically for the needs of a particular client. The system has the ability to add multilingualism with an unlimited number of languages.
Page content management
The content of a single page in this project is managed using separate blocks, meaning that each individual part of the page is essentially a separate block. Blocks can be sorted, hidden or shown from the site, copied, and much more. This approach is not necessary for all information websites. The flexibility of the admin panel allows to develop approaches to editing content according to the needs of the exact customer.

The website has a convenient main menu and a menu for services. These menus can be conveniently managed from the admin panel.
Contact details, links to social networks - all this changes in one place without the need to edit it on every page.
Blocks
Thanks to the flexibility of the developed admin panel, several dozen different blocks have been developed to maximize the functionality for the end user and allow them to create completely unique pages by design.
SEO - friendly
The site has a sitemap.xml that includes all the links to all the pages in all the languages available on the site. The sitemap is automatically generated. Therefore, you do not need to "ask the developer" to create a new copy. The sitemap automatically includes or excludes pages that have been published or unpublished.
Each page can be marked as no-index, no-follow. It is also possible to modify the project in a way that suits you to the maximum extent possible to match the plans of your SEO specialists.
The result was a fast, concise website with a simple management system, which was the goal at the beginning of the work.
The project is currently under active development, with new modules and functionality being added.
